Officials with Public Service Company have announced that the company has temporarily suspended all service disconnections for non-payment due to COVID-19.

In a press release, PSO says that they urge customers to try to keep their accounts current and says if a customer is having trouble paying their bill, they should contact PSO by phone or through Facebook or Twitter to discuss payment options.

The release also stated that PSO does not anticipate the COVID-19 situation to disrupt their ability to provide electric service for customers.

The press release concluded by saying that PSO has received a $50,000 grant from the AEP Foundation to the Tulsa Area COVID-19 Response Fund that has been established by the Tulsa Community Foundation and Tulsa Area United Way. An additional $46,000 in funds, bringing the total to $96,000, will be earmarked for other local charitable organizations who support basic human needs and help address the hardships faced by customers and communities. Additionally, PSO will be working with their various stakeholders in their respective area to donate 10,000 masks and gloves.
