With most of the region practicing social distancing and staying home due to the COVID-19 outbreak, grocery stores in the area are having to adjust with shopping habits changing.

Elk City United Supermarket Store Director David McGee says adjustments have been made by his staff to meet the high demand for groceries. He says how and what he is able to order for the store has changed.

McGee says the store has also made adjustments to help assist the senior citizen community.

McGee also noted that his employees wipe and sanitize the store every 15 minutes.
