Stolen Vehicle Found In Elk City – Newalla Man Arrested

A stolen vehicle was recovered in Elk City, and a Newalla, Oklahoma man was arrested and faces charges for the crime.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Elk City police were dispatched to a fast food restaurant in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot early Tuesday (January 7) morning. The affidavit stated that when an officer arrived, a Nissan Altima was found with 31-year-old Kyle Eugene Graves of Newalla asleep in the drivers seat.

The court document stated that Elk City dispatch informed the officer that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Graves was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle. He was booked into the Elk City Jail without incident.

The affidavit has been forwarded to the Beckham County District Attorney’s Office for review, and charges are pending.
