Voters who want to vote by absentee ballot for the 2020 Election Year should submit their absentee ballot application to their county election board as soon as possible according to Roger Mills County Election Board Secretary Jana Maddux.

In a recent press release, Maddux says voters can request ballots for individual elections or for all elections they are eligible to vote in during the 2020 Election Year. However, Maddux encourages voters to apply early due to many federal, state, and local elections coming up this year. She says when one applies for ballots, a ballot will be mailed to that person for each election they are eligible to vote in.

The release states that application are available at county election board offices or can be downloaded at elections.ok.gov.

Maddux reminds voters that requests must be submitted no later than the Wednesday before the first election in which the voter would like to participate. A list of elections can be found at election.ok.gov.
