SWOSU Homecoming

Its homecoming weekend at SWOSU and a number of big activities and events are planned.
Finalists for Southwestern Oklahoma State University Homecoming king and queen have been selected by SWOSU students.  The winners will be announced at halftime of the football game.
The finalists were selected by an online student vote that had 1,044 students participate.
College of Pharmacy alumni and friends are especially invited Saturday to celebrate SWOSU’s Homecoming. 
The Pharmacy Alumni Recognition Ceremony and Brunch will be held at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Student Center Ballroom.  During the ceremony, a special tribute to the Class of 1965 and 1975 will be held and pharmacy alumni awards will also be presented with a come-and-go College of Pharmacy Open House following the award ceremony.
Founded in 1939, the SWOSU College of Pharmacy was founding in 1939 and it remains dedicated to its tradition of excellence in pharmacy education.
Saturday will also see three individuals with long ties to SWOSU honored with the prestigious Presidential Award of Merit.
SWOSU President Randy Beutler will present the awards at the 5 p.m. pre-game festivities to Dr. William G. Bernhardt, Midwest City; Everett Dobson, Oklahoma City; and Dr. Henrietta Mann, Weatherford.
The trio will also ride in the SWOSU Homecoming parade at 1:30 p.m. in Towne Centre of Weatherford.
The Bulldogs of SWOSU play the East Central University Tigers out of Ada at 5 pm in Milan Stadium.
